I have no clue who the first person to compare themselves to feces in order to score cool points was, but he's a trailblazer. A man ahead of his time. I don't know if the analogy is representative of the literal and figurative definitions of funk or not, but rappers have been calling themselves excrement for as long as I can remember. Yeezus even went full throttle, albeit in typical Kanye fashion, a little too far (no one wants to be the shit, AND the urine). Brain Rapp & friends keeps it fresh, dope and hip in his new visual, "The Shit." 

 It opens with his DJ and partner-in-crime, Nature Boi, downing a burrito and immediately catching a case of the bubble guts. Shortly following are a band of DMV's up-and-coming rap stars turning up in a bathroom. In. A. Bathroom. Ezko leads things off, keeping things chill in the stall and skating through his triplet flow like a seasoned vet. Brain is up next, tackling the beat with his signature wit. Jake Sinatra bats clean up, swagging all over the track per usual. The track is so damn complimentary, bringing three very different spitters to defecate all over the microphone. Props to Guru Media Group for putting together another awesome video.
